– Kenny Omega will not be attending the Double or Nothing PPV in Las Vegas this weekend. After being backstage at AEW tapings and working as a producer a number of times over the past few weeks, the 38-year-old found that stressful travel is still too early in his healing process. Omega is still recovering from knee surgery and groin surgery.
– Brian Cage, meanwhile, attended the AEW tapings in Las Vegas on Wednesday. The 38-year-old had previously not been seen at AEW shows in months despite the option of a one-year contract extension having been exercised. At the ROH Supercard of Honor in April, he was introduced as a member of Tully Blanchard Enterprises and is said to be scheduled to be part of the ROH roster. As of October 2021, Cage has not been used at AEW shows.
