There shouldn’t be a OnePlus 10 Ultra – but there will be a OnePlus 10T 5G

But also different than many previous leaks and available information have suspected. In addition to a firework of products from the Nord series, OnePlus was also said to have a OnePlus 10 and a OnePlus 10 Ultra for the fall. One might assume that quantity counts this year.

According to the latest information from Max Jambor, who has already had a considerable hit rate on OnePlus products in recent years, OnePlus is only planning to bring another flagship smartphone onto the market with the OnePlus 10T. The so-called OnePlus 10 Ultra (or OnePlus 10 Pro+) or OnePlus 10, which were discussed, are probably aimed at one and the same smartphone.

According to Jambor, the OnePlus 10T 5G comes in the same design as the 10 Pro. In terms of performance, there is probably a step up – as is well known, the new Qualcomm SoC “Snapdragon 8 Gen1+” is in the room. In terms of the camera, you should be positioned similarly to the OnePlus 10 Pro, which is inferior to the OnePlus 9 Pro in terms of the ultra wide-angle lens, as is well known.

Fast charging with 150 watts is considered set. Rumors had previously said that about the “OnePlus 10” and OnePlus also announced when working with Oppo that they would be launching another OnePlus smartphone with the said charging speed this year. Under joint synergies, Oppo and OnePlus, both of which belong to the BBK Group, are already developing charging with 240 watts under the “SuperVOOC” branding.

Since the rumors of the OnePlus 10, the OnePlus 10 Ultra and the OnePlus 10T are said to be one and the same smartphone, more information should already be available. OnePlus probably relies on typical RAM configurations with either 8 or 12 GB and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. Most likely, the smartphone should come directly with OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 – even if Android 13 is just around the corner. The battery capacity is said to be 4800 mAh.

A 6.7-inch (approx. 17 cm) AMOLED panel with Full HD+ should be used. A refresh rate of 120 Hz is supported here and it is expected that an LTPO 2.0 backplane will be used. The refresh rate can therefore be variably adjusted to the screen content between 1 and 120 Hz.

In terms of cameras, there should be a triple camera setup in the device. 50 megapixels for the main camera, 16 megapixels for the ultra wide angle camera and an (unnecessary) 2 megapixel macro lens. Hasselblad branding and colors are included, but not optical image stabilization (OIS). Let’s not hope that the Oppo influence will continue to have a negative impact on OnePlus. For the new flagship, it is rumored that the alert slider – which is really super useful – is no longer used.
