Samsung has announced the availability of the 2022 Odyssey Neo G8 (G85NB), Neo G7 (G75NB) and G4B (G40B) line of gaming monitors. The new 32-inch Odyssey Neo G8 monitor is the world’s first screen to feature a curved VA panel with UHD resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) and Quantum Matrix technology with a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a Response time of 1 ms. In addition, up to 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut is supported. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro is also on board.

Samsung relies on the Quantum Mini LED technology for the Neo G8. In addition, Quantum HDR 2,000 ensures a brightness of 2,000 nits and a static contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. Thanks to CoreSync, the CoreLightning lighting on the back and front of the monitor automatically recognizes the colors on the screen and projects a colour-adapted ambient light. In addition, the monitor offers a matte display and a height-adjustable stand (HAS) including pivot functionality. VESA-compliant mounting is also possible. The Neo G8 was named the winner in the Best of Innovation Gaming category at CES 2022. Said monitor also received the Innovation Award Honoree.

Samsung is also expanding its Odyssey gaming monitor lineup with the new Neo G7. This is a 32-inch 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) monitor with a 1000R curved VA panel and a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a response time of 1 ms (GtG). The Neo G7 offers the same features as its sister model, the Odyssey Neo G8, including AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Quantum Mini-LED technology and Quantum HDR 2,000 with a brightness of 2,000 nits. The CoreSync lighting on the back of the monitor is also used here. Due to the Auto-Source-Switch+, the monitor automatically recognizes the input source when the connected end device is switched on.

The Samsung Odyssey G4B (G40B) is available in both 25-inch and 27-inch models. With a Full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels), the display offers a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 1 ms (GtG) and an IPS panel with HDR10 support. The display is also compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium and G-SYNC. The ergonomic functions HAS, Swivel, Tilt and Pivot are also on board.

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8, Neo G7 and G4B gaming monitors will be available in stores soon. The manufacturer has not yet provided any information on pricing.

With the Odyssey Neo G8 as the fastest 4K gaming monitor, we are presenting an amazing addition to our portfolio: a fresh player in the monitor league that is second to none in the world.
