Apple presented new versions of its iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS operating systems at its WWDC developer conference. There is also new hardware: the M2 chip, which will first be found in the updated MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro. After a two-year Corona break, the WWDC was under special circumstances: For the first time, some developers and journalists were able to take part in the presentation on site. However, a lot will still take place online.

How innovative is what Apple has introduced in software and hardware? What can iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch users particularly look forward to? Where is Apple falling short of expectations? Do M1 buyers have to be annoyed because the new M2 chip will be available so quickly? Given the global supply chain issues, are the new devices available? And what about the augmented reality headset that was talked about for so long and over and over again?
