(MST/Speedmaniacs.de) – With the update to version 2.0, Codemasters for GRID Legends not only provides a number of general improvements and bug fixes in central areas, as in the previous updates, but also provides new features.
In such conditions, racing becomes even more challenging
A Special Events page is now available to all players with global leaderboards to discover the latest challenges. Each challenge comes with its own unique rewards, as well as its own leaderboard so you can always see how you’re doing against the rest of the global GRID Legends community. GRID Legends Deluxe Edition owners or users playing through EA Play will also have access to additional events.
However, two new weather conditions provide even more challenges in the races: dust and fog. If you’ve always wanted to experience for yourself what it’s like to drive when a track is shrouded in a thick cloud of dust or fog and the low visibility requires additional courage and at the same time means more risk, you can now do so in GRID Legends.

In dusty conditions – in Dubai, Sydney, Bathurst and Crescent Valley, a steady increase in sand will not only make handling worse, but also reduce visibility. The two new weather conditions can be enabled or disabled in the Race Creator (editor’s note). According to Codemasters, they are already working on adding these to other areas with further game updates. There will also be a photo mode coming soon, of which you can find a first image in our GRID Legends gallery, and the first of four content packs is approaching. Details are to be announced in the coming weeks.
