The EVO by Audient EVO 16 should offer beginners a good start into recording thanks to its user-friendliness.

EVO by Audient EVO 16: Recording made easy

That EVO by Audient EVO 16 is a further development of the EVO 4 and EVO 8 audio interfaces. It offers significantly more inputs and outputs than its smaller counterparts. It should still fit on the desk as well as in a rack. In addition, it should be affordable for everyone.

A special feature is the built-in high-resolution, full-color wide-angle screen. In connection with the newly developed Motion UI user interface, immersive and user-friendly operation should be possible. The operation should be similar to that of smart devices.

The audio interface fits both on the desk and in a rack.

Operation with just one button

All hardware setting options of the audio interface can be operated with just one button. For this, every setting should be displayed in real time on the screen. So you should be able to take full control of your recording session without having to look at the computer.

Automatic gain for all eight channels simultaneously

With the help of the Smartgain function, the amplification of your signals is automatically adjusted at the push of a button. A special feature here is that the EVO by Audient EVO 16 can automatically adjust the gain for all eight channels at the same time.

This should benefit drummers who need multiple microphone inputs. This feature should also be suitable for synthesizers with many line inputs. The automatic setting is intended to save you time that you can spend recording instead.

The EVO by Audient EVO 16 also offers numerous connections on the back.

The audio interface has eight preamps. These offer 58 dB mic input gain. The converter technology enables a large dynamic range of 121 dB.

Many expansion options

The optical inputs and outputs provide room for extensions. It should also be possible to record a complete band with the audio interface. With the ADAT and SPDIF options it should be possible to add up to 16 additional channels for microphone amplifiers.

The audio interface is supplemented with the EVO Mixer software. Among other things, this offers further options for setting up and routing inputs and outputs. Monitoring with very low latency should also be possible here.
