For the ninth time, a woman is looking for great love on the RTL show “The Bachelorette”. This time, 20 men are vying for the heart of model Sharon Battiste.

When does the ninth season of Bachelorette begin in Germany?

From June 15, RTL will show the ninth season “The Bachelorette” from 8:15 p.m. There will be eight episodes in total. The grand finale, where Bachelorette Sharon Battiste will give her last rose to her chosen one, will be broadcast on August 10th.

Here’s how you can watch The Bachelorette online

If you prefer to watch the RTL dating show in stream than on TV, you can do so a week before the official broadcast. The in-house streaming provider RTL + starts “The Bachelorette” 2022 on June 8th. There is also a live stream that runs parallel to the linear television broadcast. However, you need a paid subscription for RTL+. Depending on the package, this costs EUR 4.99 or EUR 7.99 per month.

Who is the Bachelorette in 2022?

Sharon Battiste is 30 years old and currently lives in Cologne. However, the model with German-Jamaican roots is no stranger. Because the native of Cologne has been part of the daily soap Cologne 50667 (RTLzwei) in recent years. From 2018, viewers could see her there in the role of Clara Borkmann, called “Bo”. Last year, the actress left the show after three years to focus on other projects and her career as a model, the bachelorette justifies her move to RTL.

Bachelorette 2022: how does the dating show work?

Sharon Battiste can choose from 20 men on the dating show. In various dates, the bacherorette checks whether there is a spark between them. At the end of each episode, Sharon hands out these same roses to the men in the “Night of the Roses”. If you get one, you’re further, if you don’t get a rose, you have to leave the show. However, the men can also decide of their own accord not to accept a rose and thus leave voluntarily. In the finale, the last rose decides who the bachelorette wants to embark on a love adventure with.

Why is it called bachelorette?
