In the 13th season of “Bauer sucht Frau” Anna Heiser met her current husband Gerald, whom she married in 2018 and for whom she emigrated to Namibia. In January 2021, her son Leon was finally born after Anna had previously suffered a miscarriage.

But another couple from “Bauer sucht Frau” found happiness in Namibia. In 2018, Jörn and Oliwia met on the show and announced their engagement during the season. The wedding followed in 2020 and the two parents of little Bruno have been since last May.

How are things going with both families in South Africa? RTL visited Anna and Gerald as well as Olivia and Jörn at home for the program on “Bauer sucht Frau – Neues aus Namibia”. When Anna talks about her son, tears suddenly come to her eyes: When Leon starts school, she has to say goodbye to him. And Olivia and Jörn make a surprising announcement in conversation with moderator Inka Bause.

Son of “Bauer sucht Frau” couple Anna and Gerald has to go to boarding school

“Leon will have to go to boarding school at the age of six or seven,” says Anna in an interview with RTL. The problem: the boarding school is in Windhoek, 200 kilometers away from her farm – far too long for a daily commute to school. “Most farm children go to boarding school from Monday to Friday and come home to the farm on the weekends”Anna explains.

Leon will also be separated from his parents within the week. So that her son will not be lonely then, Anna takes precautions: “It’s very important that he finds friends now that he can later go to boarding school with.”

The situation is anything but easy for the Polish native. “It’s already hard for me when I think about it”, Anna admits through tears. She used to think it would be easy, but she didn’t know what it meant to have a child, she adds, adding:

“I put off the day Leon has to go to boarding school. It’s part of it, but I don’t want to think about it just yet.”

Surprise at “Bauer sucht Frau”: Oliwia and Jörn are expecting offspring

Oliwia and Jörn are not only visited by the RTL team, they also meet presenter Inka Bause. The “Bauer sucht Frau” stars recently made a trip to Berlin. When the couple and Inka meet in the German capital, they have big news to announce: They are becoming parents for the second time. Oliwia further reports in this context:

“I’m in the fourth month, but we don’t know yet what it will be.”

She is very happy that they are having a second child, because their children could then play together and grow up together. “It makes me very happy,” enthuses the soon-to-be mother of two. Jörn is also happy about the further offspring written all over his face. Only one thing has changed for the farmer: he no longer wants three or four children, as he admits with a laugh.

Well, it’s not the biggest stars who are competing against each other this time: ProSieben has signed two in-house presenters: Jeannine Michaelsen and Charlotte Würdig are fighting for 100,000 euros in “Beat the Star”.. On Twitter, some viewers criticize this as extremely uncharming.
