32-inch gaming monitors are currently very popular in our test rooms. After several models from MSI and LG, the ASUS ROG Strix XG32VC now follows, which wants to come up with a curved panel, a maximum of 170 Hz and of course a response time of 1 ms. There is also an integrated KVM switch and of course many gaming features. In our test, we clarify how good the monitor really is.

The 32-inch format is currently very popular with manufacturers. You can see a wide variety of manifestations. Devices like the LG 32GP850-B (test) or the MSI Optix MPG321QRFDE-QD (test) offer 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (WQHD), while the MSI Optix MPG321URDE-QD (test) offers 3,840 x 2,160 pixels (UHD ). The ASUS Rog Strix XG32VC goes another way. It also relies on the WQHD resolution at 32 inches, but uses a curved panel with a radius of 1,800 mm. Compared to the flat panels of the other devices mentioned, better immersion should be offered. While the other devices mentioned use IPS panels, ASUS relies on a VA model with a larger contrast range due to its design.

ASUS ROG Strix XG32VC

As is typical for ROG, the Strix XG32VC is of course fully geared towards gamers. The maximum refresh rate is 170 Hz, the response time in MPRT mode is 1 ms, GtG ASUS specifies a value of 4 ms. FreeSync Premium Pro is also involved in counter-tearing and the integrated KVM switch is intended to ensure that several systems can be connected to the display at the same time, which can be practical for notebook or console users, for example. Of course, numerous OSD features should not be missing.

With a price of around 450 euros, the ASUS ROG Strix XG32VC is in the normal price range for a device in this class.
