AMD’s Computex keynote starts today at 8:00 a.m., where details on new desktop and notebook products are expected. It is likely to be about the Ryzen 7000 CPUs in particular, but possibly also about the RX 7000 graphics cards.
The IT fair officially starts computex Although only on Tuesday, AMD’s keynote will take place today. According to a livestream announcement posted by AMD, the event will start at 8:00 a.m. (Central European Time) on Monday. Interested parties can then follow the presentation directly on YouTube.
What is shown?
Due to the live stream announcement itself, there are hardly any further details. AMD only says that CEO Lisa Su wants to talk about the next generation of desktop and mobile hardware. So far, however, it is assumed that Lisa Su will present (at least) the new Ryzen 7000 processors at the presentation. A corresponding announcement was already published on Friday, in which Lisa Su could be seen in front of a Ryzen 7000 heat spreader.
In addition, Asrock and Gigabyte recently leaked the first X670 mainboards, which are also to be shown at Computex. AMD and its partner companies are therefore expected to present a first desktop portfolio based on Ryzen 7000 at the fair. However, it is unclear to what extent AMD can also present innovations for notebooks. The company may also want to announce the first mobile CPUs directly, or there is corresponding news in the GPU sector.

With regard to the upcoming RX 7000 graphics cards, one can hope for a corresponding teaser. In the last few days, however, there have been hardly any rumors about the new graphics cards, so that an idea of concrete products cannot be expected directly. If AMD also talks about the new RX-7000 graphics cards, the focus should probably be on general improvements – in particular the new RDNA3 architecture. You will find out more about this tomorrow. AMD’s keynotes usually last roughly one to two hours, so all the details should be known by 10 a.m.
