At around 7 p.m. on Sunday evening, Johnny and his musician friend Beck (77), whom he accompanies on tour in England, and a whole entourage (about 20 other people) walked into a chic Indian restaurant in Birmingham. And had the donation trousers on!
The “Varanasi” was spontaneously closed to all other customers after the Hollywood star had announced his arrival at short notice in the afternoon.
“We received a call out of the blue on Sunday afternoon that Johnny Depp wanted to come to dinner with a group of people,” said the still completely overwhelmed manager Mohammed Hussain of the British “Daily Mail”.
“I was shocked and at first thought it might be a hoax. But then his security team came and checked the restaurant and we gave them the whole place because we were concerned that he might be harassed by other guests.”
A large banquet with Indian specialties was quickly conjured up. Among other things, there were traditional grilled skewers, butter chicken in a spicy tomato sauce, Indian prepared lamb and extra large prawns in a delicious spice mix. Add a few cocktails and rosé champagne and the Johnny Special was complete.

Johnny Depp is said to have spent around 50,000 British pounds (around 59,000 euros), including almost 30,000 pounds in rental costs for the restaurant that was specially closed for him, for the fun, which is said to have lasted until midnight. He also willingly let himself be snapped with everyone.
The employees of the Indian restaurant shared a few snapshots of the evening, which they will probably never forget, on their Instagram page.
“The person we’re talking about the most right now was with us for dinner!” “We had the great pleasure of being in the presence of Johnny Depp and Jeff Becks! What an experience.”
“He was a very nice, down to earth guy who spent a lot of time talking to the staff, our friends and family and was happy to pose for photos with them,” restaurant manager Hussain said of Johnny Depp. “You never thought he would be such a big star. He had a lot of time for all of us.”
After the court case with his ex Amber, he didn’t ask him that beautiful evening during a small, very private chat in his office, he also explained: “I’m still pinching myself because I never dreamed that Johnny Depp come to my office.”

Meanwhile, Amber Heard’s sister Whitney Henriquez, 34, spoke out after Johnny’s ex lost the defamation suit against him and now owes him $8.35 million in damages.
“I still stand by you sis,” she shared a public message to Amber Heard on her Instagram page Monday, which she tagged “Istandwithamber.”
